Three years ago, we brought “Zion”, an eight week old chocolate lab into our home.  By the time she was 10 weeks we had signed up for in home training sessions with Kelly K-9.  Kelly was great as she involved the entire family & broke down the techniques to simple everyday practices.  We followed up our training sessions with Kelly’s puppy socialization, intermediate training, & lastly off leash training.  Thanks to Kelly we now have a very well rounded dog.  We enjoy taking her on long walks, hiking, going to the beach, & also enjoy being a part of Kelly’s Doggy Drill Team!!
	What an awesome experience to watch our puppy respond to Kelly’s “happy happy” voice and nearly beg to perform.  This is our 3rd puppy to be trained by Kelly and James through Kelly’s K-9 College and we could not be more pleased with the experience.  The calm caring approach helps make both owner and dog feel reassured and the product is a wonderful relationship and outstanding behavior built on positive reinforcement, trust and love, a devotion to last a lifetime.  Even our older dog learned a few new tricks under Kelly’s kind motivating methods.  Kelly, James, thanks for your work and all you do for the best of pet’s in La Verne.
	Nearly four years ago Joel and I brought a new French bulldog puppy into our home along with a laundry list of bad behaviors. After trying everything from a private in-home trainer to books and Videos on how to train your pup nothing seemed to work for us. “Chico” was getting close to finding himself a new home until we enrolled him in Kelly’s K-9 College puppy class. Kelly is an outstanding trainer and a caring person. She understood Chico’s reactions to different situations, and realizes that sometimes it's the owners who need the training even more than the dog. Joel and I were so please with the progress Chico had made in such a short time with Kelly that we enrolled Chico in Kelly’s advanced classes and with each class Chico looked forward to new challenges as well as learning all of the key commands, which he got right away. Kelly’s Training class gave Chico a chance to have a fun playtime in a clean and safe environment with other dogs his age. We looked forward to the class each week, and meeting with the same friendly group of dogs and owners to share our stories. It has been 4 years since Chico graduated from puppy class and since then he has been certified through Kelly as a Canine Good citizen dog and as a family we are proud to be in Kelly’s Doggy Drill Team. We have had the pleasure of knowing Kelly and her husband James for a few years now and we don't know what we would have done without them – Kelly is not only our dog trainer, she's our good friend and if you would ask Chico he would say, “she’s part of the family!”
	Dave and his family have trained three dogs with us, Jack, Jake and Ginger.  All started out in our puppy preschool and socialization course between 8 weeks and 18 weeks of age. All have wonderful dispositions and are people and dog friendly.  Dave can atest to how critical early training and socialiation is being that he is a mailman and has met up with many dogs in his time!  Daves whole family was involed in all training classes.  They understand the importance of the pack working together.
	My wife and I first met Kelly and James about 8 years ago in a city recreation, dog obedience class. We were impressed enough back then to seek out Kelly's K-9 College, once again, for our recent family additions, two English Labrador Retriever puppies. We hit the training road early with the pups at only 9 weeks old. I am proud to say that at only 8 months old, the pups have already completed an intermediate dog obedience course and are doing great. Kelly and James encourage your dog training to become a lifestyle, incorporating your pet into your daily life. They take the time to make each class participant and dog feel as though they are receiving individual instruction, treating each dog as if it was their own. Their training style is simple, built on praise and making your dog want to please you. It only takes minutes out of your day to train, but the results and progress can be remarkable. 	I finally was able to convince my family to allow me to get another Labrador after a few years of not having a big dog at our house (we have a Basset Hound also). I got Stone from AAA Labs in Ontario. The only condition my family had was he had to be trained. I looked online for a trainer close to home who could work around my work schedule. I work nights so I am unable to go to training classes on weeknights. I found Kelly’s web page and checked it out. I really like that she has been training for so long and she offers in-home training that is affordable. I signed up for 4 puppy classes at my home. I have had dogs all my life and never have I been trained to train my dog! Kelly is great. She is very patient and worked with my entire family on how to train Stone. I am now taking classes on the weekend with Kelly. Stone is doing very well. He will be tested for the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy award soon and I know he will pass no problem. I look forward to taking more classes with Kelly and James in the future.
	Kelly's K-9 College was out last resort!  At the tender age of about 15 weeks it was apperent that we had a huge problem with our new Labrador puppy.  This is not our first experience with Labradors.  We had a female that lived to be 13 years old but this puppy seemed like a whole different breed of dog.  We agreeed that if the training we received from Kelly didn't work our new puppy was going to be returned to the kennel.  We went so far as to record our puppy's behavior so that Kelly could see for her own eyes just how aggressive this cute little puppy was.  He would growl and snap at our children without any provocation.  After dedicated training with Kelly our cute little puppy turned into the Labrador that we had hoped for.  He is approaching his forth birthday and he has become such an adorable loving and obedient dog who is an intergal part of our family that it is hard to imagine tht we were once so close to giving him up!
